this week,we discussed about fundamental operations on fractions...this topic was really easy for me and all my classmates...because we have discussed it since we were in elementary so no one got confused in the lesson...if only the lessons were this easy.!!..hahah...

this week,we discussed the same lesson as last week's...we had a test about our lesson...some of the problems were difficult,but some are easy...well,after all,i was able to solve them!...i was not that good in making equations but i tried and finally i did it...

finally,our first periodical test was done...it was difficult but thank god! i survived...it is now the start of the second grading...this week,we discussed about word problems using quadratic equations...it was not that difficult...i can easily understand it...i really enjoyed this topic...

this week, we continued our discussion about the quadratic equations...in relation to this we discussed about finding roots of a quadratic equation....this is the most interesting and easiest lesson that we discussed regarding the equations....

this week, we continued our discussion about the linear inequalities....i can relate more this week than last week because i understand it well....after the linear inequalities,we discussed about the quadratic equations...it is much easier for me than linear inequalities...i enjoyed studying about the quadratic equations...

we discussed about linear inequalities this week....i don't get what its like at first...but then i began to understand it...what i didn't get are the solutions....but its clear for me now....we had a test about this lesson....i got 31 out of 40...not bad....

honestly, i didn't listen much during the discussions...it's because my seat mates were very noisy and i can't concentrate in our lesson...

but even i didn't listen in the discussions, i was able to understand it well...the thing that is hard for me is the making of equations...but as time goes by, i understand clearer about making some of it....

at first, our lesson this week was hard for me...but then, i began to understand and like it...problem solving using linear equations is far more different than solving simple word problems...the one that washed my brain out is when we are going to make the equations...but when i have the equations, its easy to solve the problem...we had a test about our lesson...i don't think i got the right answers on the questions...but i hope i did...

thank god!...this week's lessons were not that hard for me unlike last week....

we studied about the 3 kinds of systems of linear equations...we classified the systems of linear equations by using graphs and algebraic method...in the algebraic method, we were able to solve the systems of linear equation through substitution and elimination method...for me, elimination method is an easier and quicker way to solve...

i enjoyed our lessons this week....

This week, we studied about making equations using graphs...This lesson was not that easy for me because I didn't understand much of it...We had a test but most of us failed--including me who got 6 out of 35...but I understand it now...because we discussed it again...and I think my classmates also did for the second time..haha..

Dear Journal,

This week's lesson was not that hard for me....because like ma'am Shirly told us, our lesson was just a review about our lessons in 1st year...

Our lesson was about linear equations...Even I didn't listen in the discussions attentively, I was able to understand it very well...I really enjoyed our lesson especially when it comes to the plotting of points(it is my favorite part)...I also enjoyed solving for the X and Y axes...in general, i enjoyed all what we've done this week....haha...

I had so much fun studying in math now...and I think it’s because of our teacher, Mrs. Shirly Masangkay...I'm very thankful that we had such a kind and patient teacher like her....

By the way....my reflection for this week...its here...

we weren't able to attend the first discussion because we had a band practice...but I think its not that hard for us to study it by our selves so its okay...I really had so much fun on our first group presentation...even though we got one of the lowest grades its still fine...about the lesson...its not that hard for me as well as my classmates because we had discussed it last year with Mr. Del Carmen...I hope that the next lessons will be not hard for us to understand...but I do not expect much because I knew that our lessons will not be that easy....
